Step aboard a classic 95' yacht built for a more personal way to experience Alaska. Closer to the water, closer to the landscape, and far beyond the crowded cruise itinerary.
Large cruise ships can show you Alaska from a distance. Oceana is designed for something more intimate: protected anchorages, quiet coves, dramatic coastlines, and time on the water without the crowds. M/Y Oceana is a custom classic yacht built by Dittmar & Donaldson in 1975, designed for comfort, protected sightseeing, and extended cruising through the Inside Passage and well beyond the standard cruise routes.
Large windows throughout the interior mean you're never more than a glance from a humpback surfacing or a bear working the tideline. The raised pilothouse gives the captain and guests an elevated view of the Inside Passage that few travelers ever see this close.
Protected exterior decks and a covered aft provide shelter from Alaska's variable weather without sacrificing the view. Whether the sky is clear or the rain is sideways, you're out in it. And you're comfortable either way.
Built with the character and scale of a classic expedition-style yacht, Oceana gives guests the comfort, range, and presence needed for a slower, more personal journey through Alaska waters.

Ninety-five feet of classic yacht, moving through water most boats never reach. Oceana underway through the Inside Passage — open straits, glacier approaches, anchorages without another vessel in sight.
This footage is from active season charters. The destinations, the light, the scale of the landscape — this is what the trip actually looks like.

Oceana is built to keep you outside as long as possible, with enough shelter when Alaska's weather has other ideas.
Sheltered outdoor seating directly off the main salon. The default gathering place for meals, morning coffee, and watching the mountains pass. Protected from rain, open to the view.
Double-door entry from the aft deck. Large couch, swivel chairs, and a warm interior that doesn't feel like a hotel lobby. The place to decompress after a day on the water.
A five-seat bar and a large, fully equipped galley. Chef Ari works from here to produce gourmet meals based on the day's catch and what's in season. The bar is always stocked.
Panoramic views forward. Meals here feel different. Bears on the shoreline, eagles overhead, glacier faces in the distance. Also where guests tend to linger with binoculars during a wildlife run.
Elevated visibility over the bow and surrounding water. Built-in seating lets guests join the captain while underway. One of the better vantage points on the boat.
Open-air seating forward and topside for guests who want to be out in it completely. Water toys launch from here. On calm mornings, it's the quietest spot on the boat.
The kayaks get you to the glacier face. The tender gets you ashore. The fishing gear gets you on the fish. All included, all maintained by the crew.
The entire vessel is chartered exclusively to your group. The rate doesn't change for smaller parties. You're booking the boat.
